Today was a sucky day; but not as sucky as yesterday, after finding out that the shithole cheeto won the election. I’m half inclined to start screaming “IT WAS RIGGED, IT WAS RIGGED.” But really I’m just disgusted with the whole thing. I’m very tired of trying to speak up and have my voice heard about what I think is the right direction, only to be shoved onto my ass over and over and told, “WHAT YOU WANT IS BAD AND WE DON’T CARE.”
Am a bit anxious after only making about $50 yesterday after three 2-hour blocks of dashery, and I tried firing up the UberEats app and was getting WORSE offers — like $3 to go 12 miles? GTFO with that foolishness. Am hoping that this isn’t a more permanent trend because I’m kind of screwed; I’m not young enough to be staying out late at night anymore, as much as I’d like to. And at this point, I really wonder about trying to take one of the soul-sucking jobs that is Dollar General or Amazon.
